I am opening an HttpConnection in a URL. It's working in the simulator but when I try on the device, it returns "java.io.io.exeception: bad DNS address" when opening the HTTP connection. I serrated forums, but have found a solution yet.
This URL is open in the BlackBerry device internet browser, but when I try through my code, the HTTP connection (HTTP connection coming in) is not available.
I have to use a Google search to find the page for "poor DNS address" And you will get a tip that can help ... or not. Actually it is saying that you have to reset your BlackBerry to get around the OS bug.
I do not know whether this tip is still running or it can harm your BlackBerry etc. Your risk ... is not my problem: -)
