Does the Blackberry Media Player (built-in) allow any 3rd party plug-in? I'm thinking of adding a forward / backward 5 second function.
No, there is no plugin support for native media player. However, there are lots of articles in the Rim document that explain how to build your Media Player app, which can be an option if you are ready for it. Take a look recently for more information and some sample codes.
