I have Windows XP in my work and I'm on the programming zend framework. I need to install Ubuntu for command execution theory from Linux console, I file it to windows. I'm thinking of 2 options for UBUNTU installation: 1.install Ubuntu 10.04 (Sun Virtual Machine) on the virtual box. 2. Create new primary partitions and install Ubuntu 10.04 directly.
Which options do you recommend? Thank you
If there is something that you will not use too much, then press it in a virtual machine. It's slow because it's running in any other system, so you'll have Windows stuff as well as Ubuntu stuff, but if you are not going to use it all the time, then do not install it as a stand alone Do not mess with your MBR, and when you do not need it, then getting rid of it is easy.
