I downloaded the free express version of Oracle, Oracle XE I could not find the Pro C compiler in this version I read somewhere that Oracle 9i has a Pro in the client, so I think it should be 10G XE for Oracle Client and download it. But for my disappointment, I can not find it there.
Is there a way to download the old Oracle 9i and connect it to 10Gexe without any compatibility issues? Or is it possible to download Pro * C compiler alone?
I do not want to download standard version because they are too big (2 GB).
Short answer: For XE, New software must be downloaded and installed at home.
Background: The Pro * C precompiler for 10G was not actually released with the database software installation, but only in separate client installation.
Additional information: If you were working with something other than XE, you can use "Install" to install client installations in existing database installs.
