I understood the answer to this question, but I could not find a solution here, so post it for future generation.
So, in Objective-C, how can you create an object without lifting it into regular C in Objective-collection (NSArray, NSDictionary, NSSet, etc.)?
NSValue * indicator object = [NSValue valueWithPointer: aPointer];
This will wrap the pointer in an NSValue. To get it back later, use the example method of NSValue (pointer value)
