wordpress - Which CMS or blogging engine supports multiple sites? -

Not sure if this question is the right place to ask, but anyway ...

< P> i have some sites running Wordpress and maintaining / maintaining them is a pain. Is there a CMS or blogging platform that supports multiple sites / blogs in a codebase? I know that there are some hacks for WordPress but they are quite ugly and do not scale (I need 100-1000 blogs)

I'm doing quite a lot you can create a sub domain vs. WordPress MU as a sub domain.

There is an option for WordPress MU. I think that before you make a decision, you have to research and read some more.
