Linux HA / cluster: what are the differences between Pacemaker, Heartbeat, Corosync, wackamole? -

itemprop = "text">

Can you help me understand Linux AA?

  • Pacemakers, heartbeat, korosin start to be part of a whole ha stack, but how do they fit together?
  • How does the vaccine differ from the packmaker / heartbeat / coruscin? I have seen the opinion that Vaikomol is better than heartbeat because it is peer-based, is it valid?
  • The last release of Wakmayl was 2.5 years ago Is it still maintained or active?
  • What would you recommend for AA setup for Web / App / Database Servers?
  • Depending on what type of app setup is using MySQL? A cluster filesystem?

    I recommend that any setup setup used in your cluster tool knows which package is best for the general case. The agreement is heartbeat, although it depends on what type of heap you are configuring.
