I tried to remove GIT on my Windows XP via the Windows / Configuration / Software menu. After some error message (which I can not remember) removed all these files, I checked it, and there are no files with PTP in the names omitted on the whole system.
There is a problem: Every time I opened Windows Explorer, a dirty error message was a DLL file that was no longer there.
Anyone know what's going on here? A wild guess: If there is any interference between svn and git, if some files are connected to both git and svn?
Personally, I went to the registry, I found that many marks of GIT were removed in the registry after removing GIT "windows", I removed every person carefully, which was my problem It seems to be a very dangerous way, but I had no choice. Perhaps it's a good idea to look at the Windows-D installation script very carefully.
You have to remove an explorer extension (it is not certain if this is a terminology, then this is the concept ).
I believe you can use it to do this
