Git equivalent of `svn cat` with remote repository -

, however, svn cat can be used for remote repositories. That is, I can get the svn cat url @ rev and get the file through the specified revision of the remote repository without the whole repository. I understand that git shows only applies to local repositories.

If your motivation is to download and / or reduce the amount of data stored in your local disk, You can try the commands given below.
