In my search, I find most of the arguments to use plurality in that database naming conventions , And ways to handle it in any case I have decided that I like the plural table name, so I do not want to argue over it.
I have to represent an animal species and genus and should do it in such a database. The plural and singular forms are the same for 'species', and the 'genus' plural is 'jenessa'.
I am using Microsoft's unit data model, the way it is. My concern is mainly that on the basis of my naming options, I will have problems later.
I think I can meet with it: Table: Jenera | Column: Genus
But I'm sure how should I handle: Table: Species | Column: Species
If I really want to be lazy about this, then I give them the names of 'species' species' and' genus' genus, but I would love to read them in my true form . / P>
Any advice would be appreciated.
I have to go for the gender / species / species If you say this in English, then why use the wrong form of the word?
