Sparx Enterprise Architect for SQL Server modeling? -

I have used MS SQL Server Management Studio for most of our database modeling at this point in my career. I'm a database developer (not a DBA), but Spax Systems is interested in the benefits of using Enterprise Architect for data modeling. I do not need to generate a script for a different database, besides, what does Sparks EA buyer buy me, does SQL Management Studio do?

You can not think of Enterprise Architect as a development tool.

Enterprise Architect Developer is a modeling tool with advantages. The main feature of EAM is to take advantage of the UML model. EA gives you the flexibility to model your data in all different ways, from logical to physical Can create all levels of standardized models.

This allows you to move the next level and model domain classes that map to your ideological model.

I have also been on projects that carried EA models and exported to XMI and run rule-based code generation. Which originally generated a complete project architecture based on diagram
