I know that this same question was asked for unit framework 1, but now that the unit framework 4 comes out , And Microsoft claims that it provides all the facilities of Linq to Sql + more, does the unit framework now support lazy loading expensive assets? In SQL, it's very easy. There is a delayed option on any property (accessible through the designer) which can be easily turned on or off. Is the unit something similar in the framework?
Thank you
I have asked questions on the MS EF forum as you see That they provided a link for details.
Actually this idea is to divide a database table into more than one unit which is connected to 1: 1 relations and then the general lazy loading facility is beneficial among the related institutions.
In my opinion, there is at least one solution that does not need to touch your database table as a delay-loading flag from LINQ to SQL.
Edit : Finally MS support has replied in the thread which I have linked above that the "Delay loading flag" such as SQL from SQL is definitely contained in the unit framework is not.
