apache2 - apache web server configuration problem -

I just have to be an Apache server for the service of / var / www / directory, now it's all files on the system from the directory "/" / I tried to edit httpd.conf in / etc / apache2 and placed the folllowing material in it (partially it was empty)

Then it was saved, the restarted Apache server placed the location / var / www in the web browser address bar, even then it shows high level directories, even when I File default, the same process repeats in default-SSL site-available folder

Apache still serves all files on my system

2. I have the following command I try to use

  gedit httpd.conf

I get an error

  GED: 2696): ENDAMCLIIT-WARNING **: Failed to connect to Session Manager: None of the specified authentication protocols is supported GConf error : Failed to contact configuration server; Some potential reason is that you have to enable TCP / IP networking for the ORIVT, or because of system crash, you have an old NFS lock. See http://projects.gnome.org/gconf/ for information. (Details - 1: Failed to get connection from the session: The answer was not received. Possible reasons include: Remote application did not send any response, message was just security policy blocked response, time ended, or network connection was Broken.)

Show it like this:

  & Lt; Directory / & gt; Option Follow-up Simon Link Allow Do not Deny Any Orders, Deny All & lt; / Directory & gt; # # Note that from this point onwards you should be allowed to specifically enable # special features - so if you can expect something, then make sure that you have enabled it specifically # below # # It should be changed to whatever DocumentRoot you set # # Directory "/ var / www" & gt;
