Save/restore git/cvs checkout changes when switching branches? -


To use CVS, GIT or other technology (file system level?), I would like to:

  1. Checkout branch B: Changes in the branch "have gone away" (better than by name), branch B is examined in the branch Change

  2. Checkout Branch A: Changes in Branch B "Removed from Name" (Name will be very good), Branch A is checked that changes in my branch B But now my "saved" branch is back in step # 2

Gita-hide I do not see the flow fit which I am telling even though my assumption is wrong Might be possible.

Techniques related to RCS or file system or command line equipment or otherwise are welcome.
